This TD Bank credit card used to be good years ago, now you almost get nothing back. Not worth the trouble anymore. Very bad service and now I know why they have so many bad reviews here and online. You cannot make changes like your address online on their website. You have to call them for everything, because they do not have internal email messaging to send them messages within your log in. I opened TD Bank Checking account which has $300 promotion to it on meeting certain criteria. I even confirmed with them over the phone after account opening and they said everything was fine and that I'd get refund credited once I have met the requirements. I have not only met the requirements for the promotion but also have been using this account as my primary checking. Predatory banking practices and smug customer service agents. Signed up for Samsung finance account in association with a phone purchase. month 1 i receive a collections notice. set up my online account to pay bill. screen 1 has 3 check boxes with a prechecked "receive bill online". Your actual balance is showed on top and your ledger balance is illegible. And they do not explain when opening the account that the debit card can be used 5 time a day to a balance you think you have... only for a maximum of $175 overdraft fees per day... while it seems you have money in the bank... shame on TD and happy for the $70 million dollar settlement but they are still doing this and today to me. Td bank has charged me fee upon fee for overdrafts which were unwarranted. I made two deposits each over 200 dollars to cover all transactions I knew I would be making as well as the transactions what I am aware of each month that are automatically withdrawn. I made the deposits at an ATM in a local TD branch lobby. I have the receipts and balance for each deposit. We purchased a golf cart in May 2019 and the financing went through these ******. I made a payment online in June and July then decided in August to make my $110.00 payment online then sign up for AUTOPAY so I wouldn't have to worry about it every month. So I setup a one-time payment and then setup for Autopay to start in September. When I setup the autopay it "cancelled" out the one time payment for August. They are terrible! I bought furniture and got a line of credit through them. A few days later a enrolled online and made a payment and set up my auto payments. When my first real payment was due I had already enrolled with auto so everything was fine (or so I thought). I like *** Furniture and have enjoyed my 2018 purchase of a classy dining room table and a fun "house bed" for my daughter. I do not like, however, where they extend their line (TD Bank) of credit and I had to post to help get the word out to prevent future customers from also being taken advantage of, stolen from, lied to and potentially have their credit score affected.
