Tactile Medical has a compression garment that treats my post cancer radiation induced lymphedema. The device sells for $5000 and is not covered by Medicare. I’ve told them this is too much. Repeatedly. They told me to fill out a patient assistance request. I did. They responded in an email that I didn’t qualify for assistance AND THAT UNLESS I CALLED THEM THEY WOULD SHIP THE DEVICE AT FULL PRICE UNLESS I CALLED. I CALLED THE NUMBER AND HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. What if I didn’t notice their email? What if I missed their call?... read more

I have had the unit for about 6 months. It has worked well for me, however, I am now having a problem with one of the garments and I cannot get through to customer service. I have called multiple times, never getting an answer. I have left my phone number for a call back, but still no call. I have even contacted them through their website and still nothing. I have contacted my therapist who prescribed it, to see if she can help.

The $5000 Flexitouch system they sold me does not work. Tactile Medical was very responsive and eager to work with me before purchase. They took my calls and got back to me quickly. Now that I have questions no one at headquarters picks up the phone, returns my messages, etc, etc. They have a No Refund Policy on opened items. I carefully used their system for 9 days and it was painful and didn't work. My question is this: why would someone return an unopened box to get a refund? What problems would arise with a box that hasn'... read more

The lady that was helping me get my leg pumps paid for was very persistent with the doctors. I thought the were great to work with. They came and showed me how to use them. I did have a balance that was not cover by insurance and they agreed to make a monthly payment arrangement.

I wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to order their equipment. It simply does not work as described. The initial rep who first came to our house explained it well enough but after using it just one after it arrived, it stopped inflating, so I called customer service, which never answered the phone, no matter how long I stayed on hold. OK, I am no stranger to technology, but I thought that at least the company would back up their product. At least someone would listen to a customer and at least try to explain what I ... read more

Wonderful wonderful company and machine. I have lymphadema from breast cancer surgery about 20 years ago. About 5 years ago my lymphadema therapist recommended the pump . My insurance company insisted I had to start out the simple pump first which only had one chamber. After 30 days I was allowed to switch up to the flexitouch plus. The machine makes a huge difference in my arm. I'm able to wear long sleeve shirts again. I don't use it all the time; but when I see my arm looking puffy again I use it for several weeks or mont... read more

Called Tactile Medical @ 866(#s not allowed). Took a little over 15 mins to get ahold of anyone that could further assist on getting the exact order that they require to efficiently take care of the patient. Spoke to Jack who then transferred me to another line that was supposed to directly take care of this. I was on hold for about 45 mins before I called on another line to see if I could escalate this at all. Was on hold again for about 10 mins before Jack answered again. Richelle *********** is the representative that is ... read more

My experience with customer service has been excellent every step of the process in getting a pneumatic pump from Tactile Medical. It was recommended by my Oncologist to the location where I was receiving lymphedema therapy. The in-clinic demo at my therapy location was very detailed and she answered all our questions. She also offered to work with Medicare (denial) and then submit to our secondary insurance. It was approved very quickly. Next, I received a call from their MN office to say the pump was ready to ship. Again t... read more
