I spent over a year trying to work with this company to get the appropriate medical equipment. Communication was very poor, no one was on the same page. Things were being stated that were distorted. Finally they just stopped responding telling my insurance company they no longer wanted to work with me. Somehow this company is trying to charge me for services that I haven't received including the equipment. I had a June 16 appointment for sonogram with the doctors office concerning a vein issue in my leg. A representative for Tactile Medical called me saying that doctor coco recommended their flexi treatment. I told him I wasn't interested but when I go into the doctor office he could show me what it was and I could decide if I wanted it. The customer service sucks. I have barely had the equipment for 6 months and one of the legs chambers blew. They never answered the phone. Called my representative and he did his part but the company isn't responding. My representative says it may not ship right away, it's the end of the month and they are trying to push out new products. So, that tells me my warranty isn't important to them, nor am I. I don't do my treatment because I have nothing better to do, I actually need this treatment. This is 5 years of my insurance... read more

I am a lymphedema therapist who has dealt with this company since 2008. Their customer service used to be good. It is now terrible. Neither the area rep nor the company respond to emails, calls or voicemail messages, therapists are not kept up to date with whether their patient referrals are being worked and referrals are often delayed for months before someone addresses them, if at all. The billing department is extremely difficult to deal with. They record all the calls and are happy to tell you information that suits them, but will not back it up by providing a call transcript, addressing specific things that were said, or just providing the recording to clarify. I spoke with a representative about getting a machine to help the lipo-lymphedema in both legs and waist that I am dealing with. I was told 3 different prices for the lymphoma suit. I was also told my insurance would pay. This company is an insurance scam. My insurance concurs.
