I took my truck here for an oil change and also asked them to replace a fuse. The oil change cost $50 with fees and taxes and they didn't change the fuse - saying that only the dealer can do it. I know this is a bold faced lie as my regular mechanic has done it before without problem. The only problem being that my regular mechanic is closed for a few weeks. I had to call them to get the BS answer about the fuse as they didn't say anything to me when I picked the vehicle up.
State inspection - this review is specific only to the state inspection. I got ripped off basically and I hate it because I was trying to support local businesses. I was charged $104 for inspection! I was going to bring my other truck there for inspection but decided against it and went to other shop instead. Total charge at other shop - $57. Enough said.
Either they have an issue with their diagnostics or their integrity. I recently had a car towed here. I was told they were "100% confident" in their diagnosis of the problem. Due to some delays, I had it towed to another shop. There, I was informed that it was a completely different problem--coincidentally, not as complicated to fix and less than 1/3 of the price. When it was repaired hours later, I inspected the faulty part. Sure enough, the second shop was right. Be very careful.
Some reviews did me a solid based on a first visit, but alas... I took my truck for an oil change six months ago and received informed and friendly service. This week, the same good service cost $10 more. And within an hour of getting the car back, I had a $40 ticket for an expired inspection sticker. Took my car to Alpha Fleet mid February with an over heating problem he gave me a low estimate compared to other shops that i called something came up with the truck ended paying the same as other quotes. He claimed the over heating was fix so i but more money into the truck he did another job on the car for me I ended up paying a little under 1200 when I went to go pick up the truck it was still overheating he couldn't find the problem and I was 1200 dollar into a truck that didn't work and he didn't fix now I'm without a ... read more
My truck was over heating and he was the only guy open on Sunday. I went there and he 'looked at' my truck for maybe ten minutes and declared my head gasket was busted. It had been replaced 5 years earlier. He quoted me 3400$ for the fix. I took it to other shop and it was a 25$ cap for my over flow tank. By the way the other shop only charges 2400$ for a head gasket replacement. Lame.
Extremely disappointed right now. I hate to leave a bad review after my first time here was great. However, my time was wasted here. Came to let them to check out the truck and confirm which part to order. Turns out they don't have the part, and won't be able to get my truck today. What makes me more furious, is I booked 2-3 hours out of my schedule for them to fix the truck. I called Alpha Fleet to take a look at my truck. I had a worry because I was receiving a message to turn off my truck while driving. The team came out late, very unprofessional, took a look and wasn't able to pinpointed the issue. A hard time for him to fix. AFter 3 hours waiting and it's done. Very bad service.I will never request a service again and will not recommend to all of my friends.
Alpha fleet was recommended to me last summer. I am so happy with the service at first! But the team are dishonest, price were too high and they're not talking to you straight forward. When I leave the shop after an oil change, new brakes, tune up or any other service performed, I'm not confident that it will work well as promised! and I'm right! all of problems again happen! Find another mechanic! I would not recommend anyone to Alpha Fleet's - they're scammers!
