Dr Akerman had fantastic approach to listening to the issues, asking questions, and explaining the next steps for diagnosis and treatment. He was great at explaining in a manner which was understandable. Office team and support staff were prompt and courteous!

Dr. Akerman took over my case from my physician who had retired. He was very thorough explaining my status and how he thought best to proceed. He was very personable and did not rush my office visit!

Dr. Akerman is such an excellent doctor !!! He has performed three endoscopy procedures and one colonoscopy . I would highly recommend him to anyone !!! He is one of the Best doctors I have ever seen !!! Very thoughtful and caring and explains all procedures thoroughly !!! I am very thankful for him !!!
Dr. Akerman has been my mom's doctor for several years. He has always been kind, honest and patient with her (and all of our endless questions). When it was time for my first colonoscopy, I wouldn't think of going to any other doctor. The procedure was painless and even the prep wasn't as bad as I had thought! Dr. Akerman is the best.
