Dr Ackerman takes the time to listen and explain and his care has been exceptional. The way that he and his staff make you comfortable and at ease even when addressing a very personal and somewhat embarrassing health issue is amazing. Appointments are very timely with little to no waiting. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Very good at listening and explaining
I have spoken to the same woman twice to get in. I am in pain!!!! She won't listen and just says they are booked out until October!!!! (For Colonoscopy?) She is shirt and will not listen!!!! Go somewhere else if you need help now!!!

I saw Dr. Akerman as a follow-up to a previous Endoscopy and Colonoscopy from November. The previous physician retired. Dr. Akerman was awesome in explaining my condition and treatment as well as the reason for the need for a follow-up procedure. He actively listened to me and answered questions. What I really enjoyed most? His laidback style. As for the surgery center - a well oiled machine.
