I was referred to Dr Ackerman by GP, who said thats who he uses. I was very impressed by the whole experience. Knowledgable, down to earth, easy to understand, efficient. The staff was all very freindly and helpful. Sometimes the staff at Drs offices can be surly or rushed, not here. Very Welcome.
Dr. Akerman has an extremely caring and friendly attitude and is an essential member to have on the team for people fighting cancer. He is thorough, takes time to answer all the questions as well as is prompt in responding to follow ups. His outgoing and positive personality was helpful to me while undergoing the treatments.
Dr. Akerman was easy to talk to and very professional. I was looking for a GI and he was recommended. I couldn't be happier to have him as my doctor moving forward.
Dr. Ackerman has been very thorough and efficient in treating me. He and his staff are excellent communicators and follow up on everything. His diagnoses have been accurate and treatments effective. I recommend him whole-heartedly.
