I appreciated the care I received. I especially liked the hospital where my GI procedures were performed. As a phys for 40 years, I have seen it all. This practice is far above average! I would recommend the practice to anyone. The mid-level provider in the office was kind, thorough, and professional.
I would definitely recommend Dr Akerman. He and his staff are pleasant, efficient and caring.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akerman’s for over two years now. I’ve had two colonoscopies and one endoscopy performed by Dr. Akerman. He is compassionate and a great communicator. I was very nervous before my first procedure and he put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Akerman to anyone who is in need of a gastroenterologist.
For my procedure, the staff was pleasant, courteous, professional and efficient. Dr Akerman was very personable, explained the procedure and addressed all my queries.

First time I met Dr. Akerman and he was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and once the procedure was completed very thorough in giving me my results. I highly recommend him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Akerman for many years now, and I am very satisfied with the care I receive. On my recent visit, we discussed some issues I had been having with a cough and reflux prior to my procedure.
