I would definitely recommend Dr Akerman. He and his staff are pleasant, efficient and caring.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akerman’s for over two years now. I’ve had two colonoscopies and one endoscopy performed by Dr. Akerman. He is compassionate and a great communicator. I was very nervous before my first procedure and he put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Akerman to anyone who is in need of a gastroenterologist.
For my procedure, the staff was pleasant, courteous, professional and efficient. Dr Akerman was very personable, explained the procedure and addressed all my queries.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akerman for many years now, and I am very satisfied with the care I receive. On my recent visit, we discussed some issues I had been having with a cough and reflux prior to my procedure. I had a colonoscopy and an EGD. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother process. The staff at MCP excelled. Leslie, Jessica, and Lacee were wonderful. All I remember is the anesthesiologist telling me that I may feel some discomfort at the IV site when the meds go in. Next thing I know, I woke up in recovery with no pain, no discomfort, no nothing. No issues. Thank you, Dr. Ackerman.
