Dr Akerman is the best. He found an internal bleed using very sophisticated technology and was able to stop the bleed. So very caring and talented. You will not find a better doctor.
I found Dr.Ackerman and his staff to be extremely professional and friendly. I never waited more than 10 minutes for any appointment and all treatments were carefully explained so there was no misunderstanding. Following a colonoscopy Dr. Ackerman personally called a few days later with the results of my biopsy rather than have me wait till my next appointment. I appreciate the personal as well as his professional treatment. Thank you Dr. Ackerman and staff!
My husband has been fighting a G I bleed for over 10 yrs. With Dr. Akerman working with our local G I doctor Dr Nguyen at TMC my husband is working on good health. Also my GP is planning on sending some patients to him.
On meeting Dr. Akerman, I was immediatly put at ease by he friendly and easygoing approach. He listened to me. He explined my condition in terms that were easy to understand. He offered three options with a reccomendation for one of the options which I accepted. I am especially glad to have met Dr. Akerman, and will refer to him with my gastro needs.
I was very nervous about having my procedure, but Dr. Akerman explained everything to me in a clear and concise manner. Dr. Akerman and his team are the absolute best, they made me feel comfortable and took great care of me! Dr. Akerman explained my follow up care and said he would contact me personally within 7 days with my results. Dr. Akerman contacted me and did exactly what he said I am grateful for the excellent, prompt and timely service! Thank you to Dr. Akerman and his team!

Dr. Akerman. Bar none. The most professional and cordial doctor you can have by your side. I felt I was being taken care of by a family member. My brother from another mother for sure. Test results were prompt and easy to comprehend. I reccomend him to anybody seeking high quality healthcare mixed with real passion for helping people.
Dr Ackerman was very informative and took time to explain the procedure very thoroughly and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend him if anyone has any issues.
