SO SLOOOW! 1 hour and 15 min from start to finish. We were a table of 3. This is unacceptable. I can get in an out of a sit down restaurant faster than that. I guess thats what I should do next time I think I'm in the mood for Steak'n Shake. Good thing this wasn't a lunch break that I had to hurry and get back to work. I can't totally blame our waitress alone, she was nice when we saw her, which wasn't very much. (Sometimes that is a good thing.) It has to fall back on management and ownership. It shouldnt take over 7 minutes to get a milkshake at the drive through. Tried to give this place another shot. Not happening again
In drive thru for 41 minutes, burger and fries ice cold, soda was pure carbonated water, shake was liquid. On top of all that the burgers were thinner than at McDonald's. Worst experience ever and will never be back. I expected better for $10. Total rip off, don't waist your money here.
Great food! Fast, friendly service. very clean place. I had a great experience this past weekend. Glad to hear the owner is bringing a Steak 'n Shake to Gaithersburg/ Germantown area. Drove over an hour to get there. Was well worth it. I'm sure we will make the drive again! I love the place!
The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. The waitress told us that she had to find someone else to help us because she was just given a 17 person table. So I know the other waitress had to remember to keep coming back to us as we were not in her section but still.... over an hour to get some burgers and fries? We had to ask for drink refills and then it took another 20 minutes for one milkshake to go. My daughter had to get herself crayons and a hat. Very disappointing. By far the worst steak and shake we have ever been to! We drove almost 2 hours just to come here with our kids during their winter break. We waited almost an hour for our food to come once it was ordered in which that time we never saw our waitress to refill drinks. The kids ordered cheese fries with their burgers when the food came there was no cheese when I asked for it the waitress left came back a while later and said that they couldn't have cheese because it was to cold. I would rate it higher for the food and I would give it a 0 for service.
Extremely disappointed. Being from Ohio all the AMAZING Steak n Shakes that are there, this one is a SHAME to the Steak n Shake name. Needs all new staff and management. Waited too long to be sat on a dead night and waited too long for our orders to be took and food to be brought out. An EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT. :(
