The service is horrible and I never got a fork to eat my food, and asked for a to go cup, never got one either. The service and food is not that great. The chili cheese fries were very dry.
My husband and I went for the first time to eat inside and it was quite the adventure. First off, after sitting there hungry waiting for our food, the waitress comes back to the table to apologize that for some reason they didnt get our order and so it was going to be longer. Next, my husbands double cheeseburger came without cheese, which they apologized again. Next was the line waiting to pay.....why not just have the waitress/waiters take the bill from the tables? Ordered a steak burger from the drive through. Got home to eat, opened the wrapper and there was no burger. I literally received condiments on a bun. I wish I was making this up, but this is the kind of quality (or complete lack thereof) you get with this place. Called to let them know what happened and the person I was talking to just laughed. What's funny is that a place could be so incompetent and careless. Will never return.
Why is this steak and shake so damn slow?!?!?! Every single time we come here we are waiting in the drive thru line for at least 10-15 mins and the line isn't even long!!

Dont go thru thr drive thru unless you are willing to burn a tank of gas!
Service slow, waiter had the personality of a napkin, took forever to get food and when we did get food the order was incorrect. And many have mentioned the owner, does not support our Armed Forces, so we will not support them.
I don't know what's wrong with all you people, I went to Steak'n'Shake in Richmond and am thrilled to finally have one up here. Love it! :D :D :D
