My husband is currently at Steak N Shake trying to pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready at 6:35 - it’s now 6:55. They didn’t even know what was on the order!!!! I had to send him my email confirmation so they could make it. He was standing there with 2 burgers and 2 fries that are definitely cold by now. VERY disappointing, and embarrassing for the restaurant! This used to be a reliable chain. Love this place fantastic place to go to after working late
The floor is sticky and the booth were dirty. I have been going to SNS for over 40 years since I lived in Bloomington IL. This by far is the worst store I have ever been in. We walked in and turned around and walked out. This is just a shame!!!
Servers are not friendly at all. Never said hi, how may I help you. Never checked on us. Cooks not wearing hat or hairnet. Never a thank you either!
We arrived around 8:20 just to leave at 9:45 PM. It took all of 30 minutes to just get in a drink order. One dinner was complete I ordered us all shakes, I got a small birthday cake shake. The first bite was amazing, but the second bite had a black curly small pubic looking hair sticking up. I told cashier to take back, I definitely didn't want another, and I will never eat at Steak and Shake ever again without fearing hairs in my food. Gross. Too long, and careless behavior.
