I went to the Livonia Steak N Shake on Middlebelt Rd., I found it to be dirty. The walls were smeared, catsup bottle was greasy from earlier use and no one had cleaned it, also the salt and pepper shakers were nasty. I asked the young lady for a new set of salt and pepper shakers, she looked at mine as if there was nothing wrong with them. I guess should have taken a picture. The burger was very dry and the bun was not fresh. Needless to say I will never go here again.

I am currently waiting in the drive though line for just about an hour, waiting for my food. I got a salad. This is outrageous.
This place is the worse !!! All I wanted was two all American cheeseburgers and a large fry and I never got it. A guy ordered a bunch of food for his family and he got his stuff but I couldn’t get two burgers and some fries. I got a refund and left. That Steak ‘n Shake ain’t sh*t......
All I wanted was a grilled cheese! I literally received two slices of bread and a piece of cheese after waiting all this time in line, and I was the only car in line!! Smh!! So annoyed, and I don’t have the time to take it back!
Excellent service and good food for the price. Do t come if you are looking for a “dining experience” this isn’t the place for you! If you want a good burger (get the extra patty when they ask. It’s worth it!) and a friendly staff, this place meets that criteria with 5 star precision!!!!
Just came home from the Livonia Michigan location where the whole staff was mad at the world! With not a packed house they still managed to take approximately 25 minutes to bring 2 classics and two fries out. My burger was cold and I am not one to complain about Luke warm food but come on it was cold. Then when asked waitress Cierra to heat up she took it back and heated it up so hot that it literally burned my tongue and was tough. Waited 15 minutes for waitress to take order. Waited 20 minutes for food and she forgot my dressing for chicken tenders. By the time she brought that, my food was lukewarm. She still didn’t bring our shakes, reminded her of that and they were soupy when we got them. Then we realized we had no silverware or napkins so had to hunt waitress down for them.
