Don't waste your TIME! I waited I line for over 4 hrs. And 4 separate line b4 even getting into the actual line 5th one to get into the haunted house...Don't speedpass the line for speedpass was longer than regular admission...!
Waited 4hrs in line with the "fast pass" for a 15 min walk through the house. Too bad I purchased the ticket before hand or I would've went back home. Not worth the wait!!!!! Don't fall for a fast pass!
I would have given it 0 stars but I wasn't able to so 1 it is. Waste of time and money. Not enough to actors in house. Arrived at 8:10pm. Finally entered the house at 11:20pm! Waited in 9 different lines. NINE! Fing joke. Remote locating for house is not ideal as you have to wait for a shuttle. They claimed there was 7 busses running yet when we finally got dropped off, there was 4 busses parked in the back of the lot. Just kept going from line to line to line to line to line to line. Long wait (opening week), slide almost injured myself either add cushions or more space for legs to hang at bottom of slide, key room condense to make it possible to find key, you could easily make 1-2 more rooms in that area. More actors needed. Over all good, can't wait to check it out again when everything is working like a well oiled machine. The woods walk was cool, and the theatrics were also very good.
I loved loved loved loved this haunted house.... I know the lines are long but it is sssooo worth it!!!!! The decorations are so creative.. The glow stick game was ssooo much fun... And the actors are great and omg!!!! I love the doll room!!!! It was like my heaven!!! Great great great!!!!!
The lines were really long, which was to be expected opening weekend. The house was incredibly detailed & all the actors stayed in character the entire time. We had a great time. I recommend getting there at least an hour before it opens to avoid the wait. Wear comfy shoes & warm clothes!!
I agree with Ken Lehocky... The multiple line waits was the worst portion. We arrived at metra at 7:05. Already walked up to a line for the shuttle bus. Was much, much worse once we go to the site. Waited about 45 minutes to get our actual tickets, even though were prepaid online and had printed "tickets". Then the ViP fast pass line took about an hour before allowed to walk through the forest area. Then came to another line at the gates of the mansion. The haunt, costumes, and makeup were all beautiful. Proud of everyone involved in the build and design!
Ok everyone is complaining about the lines ... yes they were terribly long but I got to catch up with my BFF, met some really nice people in line, offered us alcohol talked with them. The Haunted House details I thought were amazing not your ordinary everyday haunted house! I personally thought the wait was worth it! For this being first opening weekend for a new haunted house expects hick ups and whatnots. More actors inline would have helped make the wait a little more tolerable but overall I had a GREAT TIME!!!
