The line for the bus to get to the actual attraction was ridiculous. The bus came maybe once every 45 minutes. Then once you get on the bus and drive there, there is another huge line for tickets then another long line to get in. The first part, walking through the woods and cemetery was so pathetic I can't believe it. There were like 2 characters who didn't even try to scare people. The lines where extremely ridiculous! Speed passes were purchased and it didn't matter at all! When we brought up to staff, it wasn't even addressed. Other than the lines it was awesome, first haunted house in a very long time, but the lines got old real fast.
If you want to stand in line for 4 hours to go through a haunted house with 50 other people and not even be scared once I suggest you go. The only scary part was when a real snake was shoved by my face. Oh yea. Get the fast pass too. It save you soooooooooo much time. Worst haunted house I've been to and very disorganized. Glad I got my money back from groupon.
Not scary at all!! Bought the fast pass on Groupon and waited two hours for the bus to take us to to the haunted house. Was told that fast pass didn't work until you got there!! When we got there we had to wait in line yet again!! The general admission line was shorter than the fast pass!!! Walking through the forest to the house they could've done better to scare you. Literally the lines were ridiculous, workers weren't even scary. I literally would say hi to them and they said hi back. Too much lighting wasn't scared bc I could see them coming.
The only reason there are so many 5 star ratings is because they had people who work there rate it before it even openned. It's awful, drive 10 minutes to statesville. We got to the bus line by 7 didn't get dropped off by the bus until 1130. It was line after line. An unorganized $h!t show. The actual house lasted about 20 minutes. The "amazing" slide was a medium sized one at any playground. I never write reviews but I feel obligated to warn people.
Soooo good! Maybe the best place I've been so detailed and awesome effects too. Lines were good too. Glad they fixed the bus and issues!
Reading the reviews complaining about the wait times kinda worried me, seeing as how my mom and i were driving almost 3 hours one way to visit this haunt. We waited maybe 30 min for the busses and maybe 30ish min total in the other lines to get into the haunt, not bad at all. The haunted house is so beautiful great actors and storyline. We did come on Saturday and had to leave because the line for the bus was way over 2 hours. But today we were only in line an hour for the bus and waited about five minutes to get in the house such a improvement and they have food trucks when you get out of the house so you can say I had an amazing night! Thank you hells gate��
