Not worth the wait time. It was a good haunted house and walk through forest. But for the times spent in line it dud not make up for it. Plus the ending with "finding the key" our group got only about ten seconds because it had already let people in and just ushered us in on top of there time alloted. Can tell they have made a huge effort with the place but now need to fix there personnel associated with the time problems.
I'll admit it's a wait, ok? This is very hyped up, as it should be, and with the hype comes a wait. It's not as bad as others are making it seem, although the fast pass wait looked about the same as the general admission. We got there about 730, and got onto the shuttle bus maybe 20-25 minutes later, and then the fast pass line before the haunt was about 40 minutes more. Wow wow horrible horrible horrible place! Got to the first part where you apparently had to wait for a bus to get to hells gate. We got there at 830 and there was a huge line to begin with which I figure ok this is the worst part because I got a speed vip pass. After 2 hours we get on the bus. We drive a few min and got to the woods where hells gate is, get off the bus and get to the window to get our tickets we purchased on groupon and figured ok we should be good now.......nope! Beautiful set design with a lot of potential I look forward to seeing how this one goes in the future and how it grows! Definitely not an in your face scare like statesville which s nice that its its own entity and still really cool I definitely enjoyed myself and my whole experience was about an hour and a half Sunday is a good night to go
Okay. This is the first time I've attended this haunt and my friend and I used the Groupon and for both of our VIP fast passes for $39 total. Some will say it wasn't worth it, but I disagree. We arrived in town around 7:45 and ended up parking at City Hall. We waited for about 30-45 minutes to get on the shuttle bus. We arrived at the location and got our tickets. They are overdoing the advertisement for this place! No it was not just the wait as someone previously stated. We did wait around 4 hours! Line after line, got to a point where the characters themselves would just make jokes instead of scaring. All the hype is for nothing. Their VIP pass is a joke! There is no VIP pass btw� Not worth the money people just save yourself those few bucks and go somewhere else �we definitely expected better from a place that has been advertised as a "real" haunted house.

Honest to god people don't waste your time or money on this place it is a joke "they are there to take your money" quote from the actor himself. We had got there at 830 and didn't get out till 230 in the morning. They had told people to park and the metra station and then redirected them to city hall due to no parking, ok fine. This haunt has been majorly hyped up since mid summer. I saw on Groupon that over a thousand tickets were sold, so I knew we had to get there early. We got there about 5:45. The address they give you takes you to their employee parking lot. All the signs on the way point you to the parking lot as well.
