This is the best hospital I have every been in. All the employees that I came in contact with were awesome!
Drs. Bierd and Bruce are lying, blackmailing and crooked. Before you give birth in this hospital and possibly be put into their NICU please read all the nightmare stories online about the two doctors that staff the NiCU. Check out google reviews and health grades plus. Also Dr Bierd was featured in an expose for threatening parents. If you are there now demand a transfer to UAB Nicu ASAP
You could not ask for a nicer more professional and caring staff. Everyone from the doctors to the transports were super. I cannot stress enough how great the people here are....especially the physical therapist and everyone on 5 south.
Had my hysterectomy today. The staff was amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. Made me feel very safe and comfortable. You have my total trust. Please send a hug to Dr Mary ingram and my nurses, especially my pre op and recovery nurse. Sandi. He deserves a raise! Home resting, glad I chose St Vincent's for my care.
I’ll be sure to publish the pictures and videos of your nurses sitting around laughing and playing on their phones while we enter hour 6 of waiting in the er and still haven’t been seen. I’d rather die than come back here.
I had my gall bladder removed at St. Vincents downtown yesterday. I was very nervous about it. From the minute I got there everyone was friendly and helpful. The nurses put me at ease and before long we were laughing and talking about the procedure. The anesthesiologist came in and made me feel very comfortable about the anesthesia. I have to admit, that part scared me more than any other part of the procedure. Everyone was friendly, efficient and professional. The surgery went extremely well. I am thankful to all the doctor... read more
My father had surgery and sat in a recovery room for over four hours before a room was ready. Then he got into a room that had no pillow cases and none could be found. Pillow cases?? Upon discharge, he was instructed to change his bandage daily but also told they had no gauze to give him. No gauze? In a hospital? Something is seriously going on at this hospital. My parents had several issues while already going through a rough time with post operative healing and rehab. Please get it together.
St Vincents Health System I has a 3.5 star rating with 227 reviews.
St Vincents Health System I is closed now. It will open at 7:00 a.m.
