Terrifying!!! A psycho comes into the hospital, threatens to kill people displays a weapon, then masturbates in front of the receptionist and is able to walk back out...and the security guards think it's funny. Not only horrifying to the patients, but the lack of concern for everyone's well-being.
Absolutely not!!!!! ERis poorly understaffed and the hospital cannot accomodate the influx of walk in patients needing medical care. Should not have to wait over 3 1/2 hours to be seen in the ER!!!! EVERY time I come here with family or friends, its the same thing...not enough beds, rooms, and patients waiting in the ER HALLWAYS!!!!
RecommendedI would love to say that over the last two years this hospital has greatly improved on their patient care and customer service. I had a really bad experience two years ago with some of the ER and level 2 staff after being admitted for an elevated Troponin I level but their new providers and nurses seem to really have what it takes to be in the medical field...empathy. stupid employees do not know proper care of patients! need to pray for help
Thank you so much for helping me in the ER yesterday. I feel much better today. Dr. Wilson was kind and thorough and the nurses/techs all fabulous. Great to live in this community with Medstar St. Mary's Hospital. <3
ICU took very good care of my brother. Brought him through a rough and dangerous time.
My elderly father spent yesterday in your ER after falling at home. Received proper medical care and more importantly the nursing staff carefully talked listen and reassured someone who was scared and was having difficulty without his hearing aids. Thank You!
