Well what can I say.. Without a doubt our visit yesterday was bad... My wife is in end stage renal failure.... She is being treated by a nephrologist, and does dialysis 3 days a week... But unfortunately sometimes she gets really sick or has other issues that require an emergency room. Sometimes her care is very good. But yesterday we spent 5 hrs in the hall with her hooked up to an IV.. Now call me crazy but that just blew my mind. And the doctor was an ass... I think st.marys hospital over all is okay they have a least two excellent doctors I think is great Jennifer cheeseman and Dr. Purrout.
I have been to St Mary's Hospital for several surgeries, the birth of my 4 children, and a few injuries. I have always been treated with respect, and all my concerns were addressed. They are busy at times, but that's to be expected when people go there for visits that should be with their family physician. We were just there on July 10th when my husband broke his knee. I had a very good experience at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital yesterday. I started in Radiology, where Dennis took very good care of me while doing a series of knee x-rays. Next was my first appointment with Dr. Emmanuel Atiemo. He put me at ease immediately. He was very kind and thorough. He discussed treatment options and together we decided on the best thing for me. I liked him a lot, and would recommend him in the future.
ER was not busy & took my granddaughter right away. Everyone was super kind & treated us well.
Every single employee was polite and extremely helpful. The ICU was awesome, couldn't have been more attentive.
Dr Henderson and the hospital Staff made me feel comfortable!!! Dr H is the best 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
