Quintessential steakhouse experience. Delicious food, great atmosphere and service (Calvin was excellent), and the "3 course Sunday dinner" special menu is a great value.
Nice historical steak house in town.
It's going to be real hard for any other steak house to hold a candle to these guys. Excellent service and great atmosphere. I had a very good dinner and highly recommend.
Our family took us there to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was a wonderful night. The staff and waiters the entire evening were very attentive, the food was great, and the atmosphere in the small intimate dining area was perfect for the 6 of us!
Here is why I give it 2 stars. I am a butcher, by trade! I brought my 16 year old daughter in and we split a porterhouse. She loves the filet and I like the strip loin. What was brought out to us was a t-bone steak! The filet was only about 1 inch wide from the bone. This is a classic case of false advertisement. We were dressed very casually, which must have given them the idea that I had no clue about beef...or something? I wouldn't expect a reputable establishment to do this!
