I went to the Er the day after I was in a car wreck. The Doctor did nothing. My regular dr sent me to a neurologist because my headache would not go away she sent me for an MRI. I was diagnosed with Chiari malformation and a syrinx. I had no symptoms before the wreck. I had already settled with the insurance company of the lady that hit me because your doctor said it was just whip lash. Since all that I had brain surgery to help the Chiari. Hate this company. Annoying
hospital has gone down hill! all the good Dr.'s are gone or don't stay long that tells us something is wrong. very slow with everything. lab people don't know how to draw blood. don't listen to patient there going to take blood from when I was telling them they have to use butterfly and what view is good. I have bad viens from vancomycin. they said I needed test that had already been done . when I told them I already had it done they wanted to argue and threatened to tell my Dr I was non complyent.
The practice of billing patients $200 for the use of exam rooms during routine Dr visits is ridicululous! I was billed on top of the doctors fees for the use of the room even though it was an oral consultation,no physical exam involved.These charges are incurred simply because they have located the Drs private offices in the hospital itself.Its totally unfair and though I have been a patient many years with GoodSamaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon IL and their physicians this practice will force me to seek other providers from... read more

By getting rid of that surly, nasty woman at the front desk ... Gale the Grinch!! If ever there was a woman dedicated to NOT helping or trying to facilitate, it would be her!! If you have small children who won't take their medicine, she would be perfectly qualified to scare them into it! She could not have been more rude or obnoxious if she tried!!
