I will be calling the powers that be over my call to the 24 hour nurse line. The nurses were trying to help, however, the DR I spoke with, Over a prescription for HEART BURN PILLS, was condescending. She asked if I could go buy some, OTC. I said they are expensive, and I don’t make what a DR Does. She was insulted and said she would not be talked to like this. I hung up. RIDICULOUS OVER A HEARTBURN PILL WHERE I ALREADY HAD A PRESCRIPTION!
SSM HEALTH has horrible customer service line!! I guess if someone is completing a financial assistance packet they provide horrible service. It seems their employees are rude and lazy. My child needs chemo treatment EVERY week and Cardinal Glennon ran out but Children’s has the drug!!! Glennon is giving my child less of a chance to live. Shame on the buyers and the leadership of SSM. BJC has figured out a way to save their patients but it’s heartbreaking to hear my 15 year cry and say “ I am definitely going to die now” and no employee was sympathetic with him.
I tried to post here 2 days ago and it went to be reviewed before being posted. I supplied my information and complaint and nobody got back to me. In short SSM is not living up to their promises. Again my email is bvisauer@yahoo.com
I had a Hida scan at DePaul on October 4 and was told my doctor would receive the results that afternoon. One week later and my doctor still has not received the results. I called both the radiology department on Tuesday & medical records today and was assured my scan had been read by a radiologist and my records would be sent. Still nothing and now it is the weekend. I will NEVER go to DePaul again for anything and I have spread the word to family and friends to go anywhere but DePaul. 😡
Nurses call patients back actually and not to let employees be bullied.
RecommendedI honestly don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve been going to this hospital biweekly for the most part, for about seven months now. Every time I’ve gone, they’ve addressed every concern and issue I’ve had and have gone above and beyond to help me or fix the problem. They never let me leave confused or unknowing what’s going on, and make sure I have the phone numbers I need just in case that changes. They’re very sweet, patient, and understanding. Would not choose another hospital for my needs!
