Incompetent staff!!! We have been going back and forth with a bill for months now. They made an error in billing and instead of honoring the agreement that we have documentation of, they sent the bill to collections. I will never go through SSM again!!
SLU has employees stealing from the dead and injured. My sons cell phone was stolen by security dept at SLU on 7/27/2020. A friend of mine her dad has his wedding ring stolen off his dead body when he died there. Another family their mother was hit by a truck and they stole her 7 diamond earrings off her while critically injured. My son Had a sore throat and a fever during the worst of the COVId pandemic. 😷. Due to his fever he was not able to go to the family doctor but was directed to a specific SSM urgent care. Fortunately, it was an easy ,10 min diagnosis of strep. However they charged me 543$ for which my insurance got it down to 250$. Pre Covid, I only paid 127$. This is a CATHOLIC charity! What charitable cause is supported here?!

RecommendedI really was grateful for the care I received at my local SSM clinic in Fulton, Mo., my Dr. literally saved my life & I'm not exaggerating. Now our clinic is closed & my Dr. retired, so I'm feeling let down. I had notice, a month ahead, that it'd be closing, but now I have to decide which clinic to go to & it's so upsetting. I received my cancer treatment at SSM St. Clare. They truly reveal God’s healing presence!!
My mother was admitted today, she is 80 years old. She was in the emergency room at 7:00am and then admitted to a room. As of 7:30pm she still had not received any food! The nurse told me she was sorry and would go to the cafeteria herself to get it. It was 8:30 when she finally got something to eat! That is not how a patient should be taken care of! How would Ellis Hawkins feel if his mother was treated this way?
I went to an “urgent care” they bill it as an emergency room visit. I have been dealing with this since October of last year. Do not use SSM or you will have the same outcome. I will never set foot in another SSM healthcare facility for the rest of my life and will advise anyone who will listen to do the same or you will be dealing with it 6 months later. I was supposed to be charged a $25 copay and was charged $250 because they bill like you went to an emergency room. I went to an office across from Walmart in a strip mall.... read more
