For your own health and safety please avoid any SSM facility or doctor. They have demonstrated time and again they they do not care for patients, only money for visits a and billing insurance. Have been struggling for months now with one local office with incompetent nurses who apparently are trained to not care and are in a system that penalizes doctors for spending more than 15 minutes with a patient. Will be filing formal complaints against the nurses with the state board of nursing along with possible lawsuits.
Can not even get them to take my insurance premium because their customer rep at St Marys Janesville WI was not there. No explanation as to why the office was closed. Poor person who was telling people the office was closed could have been trained to take these payments. But according to customer no service supervisor John in Madison they are only allowed to train a small number of people to receive payments. Customer service is a joke. Watch your bill and read it. They double dip every chance they get. They not only charge me a co pay but then add on a facility charge which means you get the pleasure of paying to just walk through the door then you get to pay to see the doctor. They are a terrible company that will prey on their customers
Invoiced for failed procedure caused by incorrect preparation instructions provided. They will not resolve the issue. Use BJC or a private practice.

Absolutely horrendous billing department. No communication, and stuck on hold for hours over the course of two months trying to speak to someone. Avoid SSM Health at all costs!!!
