The worst customer service in the billing department. It takes an act of God to talk to a person and the front line customer service people have canned responses w/ no real information behind it. The website states to mail deputes via the USPS. What? This is 2020! I am switching healthcare providers for this reason alone. I have to speculate the employees are being treated just as bad as the customers. Just terrible.
I called and made an appointment on my only day off this week to see my doctor so I could get a referral for an Orthopedic surgeon. When I get there on said appointment day(today) they tell me that the appointment wasn't until the next day(tomorrow) and acted like it was my fault that they put it in the computer wrong. I wouldn't make an appointment for when I had to be at work. That was a mistake on their part! Highly unprofessional and rude!
I have had 2 surgeries at DePaul Hospital and getting ready for my third, I have had great success. I recommend them for sure.
I made my appointment, specifically stating I needed the chicken pox vaccine at the Glen Carbon Illinois Walgreens location. There was three days between when I made my appointment and the appointment- as well as 3 hours between when the clinic opened and when my appointment was. However they chose to make me wait at the appointment for 20 minutes, brought me to the back room, before telling me that they did not carry the vaccine. SSM at Walgreens is way overpriced. A visit there is supposed to cost the same as a regular doctor visit but ended up being almost twice as much. I filed a dispute which has been ignored. Their customer service is horrible. Promises to get back to you and review the situation are not kept. I would go to an out of network facility before I ever go back again
Give a *%$#@#$^ about their patients.
They charged $458 to write me a prescription for poison ivy.....SSM is the reason healthcare is not affordable...Will never use them again
