I am absolutely disgusted that the higher ups decided to thin their employees by 1% and not even bother to notify the doctors they worked for! I adore my doc and his office staff. Recently, one of his dear employees was removed without warning. The doc had no clue about any of this. The higher ups even had the nerve to seen security to escort this poor woman out like she was some kind of criminal! That is absolutely ludicrous. If you start off at the website, you'll be experiencing a level of frustration and disappointment at a whole new level. This site is carefully designed to make it difficult to find any useful information. I just want to find out when visiting hours are and the best the site can do is give me 2,400 links none of which provide that information, and a chart showing that the hospital is open 24 hours a day. Can't wait to show up at midnight and announce that I'm there for a visit. After that, the service goes downhill.
Love my doctor but some of your office staff need to be taught to show a little respect to the customers that pay their salary. For this reason I will now be searching for a new doctor. This is very frustrating because as I said I love my doctor. But at 46 yrs old I don’t appreciate being treated and spoke to like a child by a receptionist.
After dealing with 10 months of appointments, surgery, chemo & radiation my wife (cancer survivor ) and I want to state that the staff at DePaul/SSM are all awesome; we’ve never had better, more compassionate care ANYWHERE compared to these fine medical angels! You have all been a blessing during this most trying time in our lives. Can’t thank you enough! Happy Holidays to all of you!
