My family and I travel the Badger almost yearly. My brother works for an airline, so he could fly free to our hometown in Wisconsin, but he loves the Badger so much that he flies to my home in Michigan from his home in Alabama, we drive 3+ hours to Ludington and take the Badger to Wisconsin for our annual family get-together. We're already planning our 2018 "Big Ship, More Fun" trip!

Best way to get to Milwaukee and Chicago and avoid all the ugly toll roads that catch you around the south end of the Lake and near Chicago. Very restful and basically fun.

It can get hot in there but that is expected with an old ship - you do have a private bathroom & sink with mirror. My teenager & I enjoy the Badger because there is so much to do that the 4 hours goes by fast....o... read more

I have traveled 2 times across Lake Michigan on the S. S. Badger. The trip is a wonderful way to go. There are things to do, games to play and food to eat. Very enjoyable way to travel.

We sailed Roy d trip on the SS BADGER last Sept & enjoyed our cruise very much. We had the buffet meal in the afternoon and breakfast cruise & thought both were good. Watched UW WI Badger football game & relaxed on the decks. We did not want to drive thru the big cities on our way to Niagara Falls. We would definitely take this cruise again!
