Have been a Badger passenger for many years. it just gets better and better. It also is dependable.
We chose the S.S. Badger on our drive to Wisconsin from Florida and we were so delighted with the convenience, staff, and amenities. We plan to travel to Manitowoc again this year on the S. S. Badger. Nice to leave the driving to a professional :-))
We had a great time sailing on the Badger to Ludington and back. The Badger is roomy, comfortable, and with plenty of things to do. Or, just pull up a lounge chair and watch the Lake Michigan waters roll by. And Ludington is a very pretty town with a lot of fun places to visit, including great eateries and pubs. And the SS Badger is the way to get there.
I had a great experience 2 different times a few years ago
Awesome experience! When the Harley Davidson's 100th Anniversary celebration was a few years ago, we were there to greet the riders off the Carferry. We then led the parade through town on our Harley and up 8th street out to Stocks Harley Shop for the big party! People came from all parts of the USA and some from GERMANY! WOWZERS! Moments to remember! And now we are ready to come down to the dock and board the Carferry again!
Always a great ride. The staterooms for the night crossing are extremely comfortable, too! Looking forward to the coming season.
Great boat! Always a pleasure to see her on the lake and to watch her slip into her berth in Manitowoc!
Love this ferry!! Take as often as we can ! It’s peaceful, the lake is beautiful, and the ferry is just fun to ride.
