One of our most special memories was our Badger trip from Kewaunee to Ludington on the last run that carried train cars. Fascinating to watch the train cars loaded cars alternating sides until the hold was full. Since then we have crossed several times. We usually sit outside in the side chairs watching the waves go by, coming inside once in awhile for food or to visit the gift shop. We have one cherished photo of our four-year-old grandson sitting inside with his 83-yr-old great-grandma on her first cruise.

We’ve done an overnight trip twice and had a great time on each. We had Groupon tickets, so the price was less costly. Also, we had good weather each time, which makes a huge difference!

I love this option for going across Lake Michigan in the summer months. No Need for the stress of driving through Chicago to visit family in beautiful Ludington.

I have been on the USS Badger three times! It is always a wonderful experience, no matter who I go with. First time I went with my Uncle, and my sister and her husband, and my husband, second time I took my oldest grandsons, third time I took my youngest grandsons, and they all had a blast! If you have never been on it, you are missing a wonderful time!
