Wonderful way to skip driving all the way around upper or lower Lake Michigan to get across the "big" water." A few years ago we went the 3rd week of July and then traveled north to Traverse City area and hit the fresh, sweet cherries along the way. Hoping to do that again this year or next. YUMMMMM!
I have been on the S.S. Badger : Lake Michigan Carferry, several times, and each time I enjoy it so much. I go with family and it saves so much time, and stress, and so worth the fun. Big Ship, More Fun. is FUN.
I have used the car ferry numerous times and have always enjoyed the voyage across the lake.
We have taken the SS badger many times over the years of vacationing in Michigan. We totally enjoy the experience on the ship and they have something for all ages. Weather can be a factor when traveling but even rough waters gave us reason to just sit and relax. Like they say, Big Ship, More fun!! Great way to get from Wisconsin to Michigan..

Love riding the Badger cant wait to take a trip and get on board again. great crew and fun things to do on board.
We have taken the Badger for years and have had a great time, each time. Look forward to taking it once again this year. And we love visiting Manitowoc, Wisconsin; plan to stay there one night so we can visit Beerntsens Confectionary and Maretti's Deli and other local fare; loved taking sandwiches on board for the trip. So regret that taking food on board is no longer permitted.
