Taking the S.S. Badger is the BESTEST way to travel, so relaxing, stress free and fun. Our daughter lives in Menasha Wis and I refuse to drive thru Chicago, just to much going on from the Sky Way exit to North of Chicago. The Badger is SO much more relaxing and stress free plus there is no traffic, with that being said we also love driving the Northern route over the Mackinac Bridge and taking US 2 across the U.P. of Michigan along the Lake Mich shoreline, it's longer but stunningly beautiful. I've taken the USS Badger many times to visit my aunt and my grandmother in Michigan. It's so nice to be able to relax for the 4 hour crossing! Then, when the USS Badger docks in Ludington, I have just 2 hours travel by car to Traverse City! The crossing is both relaxing and fun!
RecommendedThis is a great way to travel across Lake Michigan. We do this almost every year. It’s lots of fun and they really know how to keep you entertained. Plus a nice four hour break from driving
I have been traveling on the Badger every year for many years. It is always a fun experience. I love Badger Bingo. The staff is great and I always meet interesting people to talk to. It is a relaxing way to cross from Michigan to Wisconsin or back. I go to visit family in Wisconsin.
Love being on the Badger especially when it's really hot and you lay on the deck. Been on here at least 4 times.
