We ended a three week road trip by returning to Michigan on the Badger. It was a first voyage for us. Two eight year olds loved being able to walk around, sit on the deck, play video games, watch a movie and play Badger bingo. The food and drinks were reasonable and Badger bingo was a fun way to pass the time.

My family of 17 people had such a great time on the Badger😊 We played bingo, played video games, and listened to a great local musician. It was stress free:) I needed to do my morning walk and that was taken care of as well.

Really enjoyed the trip. There were a surprising number of activities aboard, and I am sure we will sail on the Badger again in the future.

My husband and I have crossed Lake Michigan on the SS Badger four times, and have enjoyed the experience each time. The activities staff are friendly, talented people. I like learning the history of this wonderful old ship. There is a feeling like no other, being out on such a huge body of water. The SS Badger is the Queen of the Great Lakes to us.

If you ever want to just take the Carferry across its a great experience, there is so much to do, but, if you are anything like me, I like to sleep, and that is what I did, But, if I decide to go back to MI, this is how I will get there again. Thank you S.S.Badger for making my ride great.

After traveling most of our trip by car it was such a welcomed change of pace to be able to take the car ferry home across Lake Michigan to Manitowoc. We got a stateroom and slept the whole trip. The gentle roll of the ferry lulled me to sleep after a stressful vacation that was supposed to have taken us to Niagara Falls. Complications at home. This route saves us time rather than up and around the Upper Peninsula of Michigan or traveling around through Chicago.
