The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

4 hours of paradise. The sun, the water, the lighthouses, it was all great. Very accommodating with bar, movie room, lounge, cafe, and multiple seating areas. It felt very spacious.

Love the boat itself. But be prepared to spend a good amount of cash while on the boat. The food and drinks are expensive and there is not complimentary refills on soda a 16ounce soda is $2 and to get a refill it’s an additional .50 cents. For a $75 dollar ticket you’d think more would be included. Just my opinion though.

EZ check-in and loading the bike and camper. plenty to do on board to pass the time or just relax for a while
5 out of 5 stars. Myself and some family decided to take the Badger from Ludington to WI on the yearly vacation. The food was pretty good, everything was clean. Fares are reasonable. The ride was interesting and very fun. We will be doing it again next year, never driving through Chicago again. This will be a yearly thing for us.
Booking a ticket was very easy online. Check-in was quick, staff was helpful and polite. The journey was lots of fun with so much to do! Unloading was very fast and the people were most helpful.
