The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

Recommended5 stars. This is the second time I have been on it. The last time was 45 years ago. The staff was professional and looked like they enjoyed their jobs. Much better than driving around the Chicago loop. Multiple things to do. Make sure you bring a jacket.

I traveled on the SS Badger for the first time this weekend and boy was I impressed. It was a relaxed atmosphere with plenty to see and do and it was a comfortable ride. I absolutely loved watching beautiful Lake Michigan pace peacefully by.

I had an amazing time on the most recent shoreline cruise, which was my very first time on the Badger. The ride was smooth and there were some great views of the Ludington coast and skyline. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an experience I would most certainly do again in a heartbeat, and I have already made a booking for a round trip next month. A big thank you to the crew of the Badger for making the shoreline cruise an excellent night.
nice quick ride, great place to relax get some snooze in or catch a movie maybe play some video games for free everything on the ship is free except the food and the gifts but it was an awesome experience and I will do it again.
had a fantastic time. a experience ill never forget and the view of the sunset and stars and moon were amazing. i would definitely go again. and the staff was very nice and friendly
this is my second time here, this is just a shoreline cruise, dinner, drinks and live music...very nice.
Someone rifled thru the saddlebags on my bike! I think it was the doughnut gobbler cop! Can’t prove it. But both saddlebags were open and my clothing was on the exhaust before I found them open.🤬
