The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

on a nice sunny day, sitting outside and relaxing is so much fun! People are friendly... plus it is fun to play bingo and take part in the other games.
A great piece of living maritime history, unique to the US, and the direct, beautiful & relaxing west-east US 10 highway corridor through Wisconsin and Michigan and onwards in both directions, without any need of having to battle with the Chicago Metro traffic jams!!! Also convenient for a short detour to the gorgeous Door Peninsula in Wisconsin, the "Cape Cod of the Midwest"!!!
A fun stress-free ride across Lake Michigan. You need to do this at least once in your life!

I absolutely love the S.S. Badger I can't say enough good things about our experience. I have taken the Badger home to Wisconsin several times it's the only way I go. Lots of wonderful activities for all ages it's the best 4 hour trip ever. I think my all time favorite activity has to be Badger Bingo I'm always excited to play and play Badger trivia. I highly recommend the Badger.
Very relaxing, enjoyable cruise across Lake Michigan, on a Historic Car Ferry. I've made this crossing no less than 40 time's, and each time is as exciting as the previous! Love the SS Badger!
