The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

It was so easy to make the reservations, board and enjoy the crossing.
It's a fun trip across Lake Michigan. Depending on where you are going it could save you some money, time, and miles on your vehicle. It's a great chance to meet some very nice people, also. It is not really expensive, just to ride. You can walk on, go across the lake, and come back, just for fun, if you want to.

The crew of the Badger do an amazing job. Very friendly people on board. Was entertained in the museum watching a teacher interact with a 3 year old while the mother attended to her twin infants.
The crew is very friendly. For being an old ship its maintained very well.
