To start with...check in was a long frustrating wait...need more help at front desk. We were offered a $40 upgrade for ocean view and got a street view. Front desk said we actually paid for the balcony and did not make an adjustment in cost. Unfortunately we had not been advised (before check in) of the construction and morning Jack hammering which was disturbing. This hotel is not what it use to be!! I understand it is going through renovation but the problems I saw go much deeper. I loved this hotel when it was a Westin. Now that Hilton has taken over all standards have been lost. The door greeters were on their phones too much to notice that I needed the door opened. The elevator to the lobby was broken and no bell men were available to help me and my 3 suitcases up the stairs. Place is under construction and it's a mess. They don't tell you when you book - which is a scummy move. They do have a nice bar on the 33rd floor however with great views.
Terrific resort even with the remodeling going on. I was there for a large conference. It is perfect for a conference. Staff was exceptionally attentive and nice. Food was very good. My room was just redone and it was marvelous. With a modest upgrade fee we got an ocean side King on the 25th floor with a balcony. We will fondly remember this experience.
This was my first time to this resort and coming from a person in hospitality, it was one of my favorite hotel experiences to date! There was so much attention to detail and it showed right down to the tissue box in the bathroom. I was given an upgrade to a ocean view room on the 30th floor and it was stunning. My only complaint would be the lack of furniture on the balcony so that you could enjoy it even more. Thank you for an incredible experience. I can't wait to come back!
I called to inquire of a lactation area and I was told to use the bathroom stall.. I stated I didn't think it was an appropriate place, and I was told to use the handicap stall..
Mediocre at best, not recommended. This is one of our favorite hotels but this restaurant is lacking in every area, especially service.
Great time and fun for kids and all the experience was wonderful they take care of us in the huracan and keep us safe
