The hotel is severely understaffed - at least in the valet and front desk operations. I had to stand in line at the front desk to get corrections made to my bill. Daniela said she would email the lodging folio to me; however, I never received the email so I had to stand in line a second time to ask for my guest folio. Thank goodness I looked at it before walking away because it wasn't correct. I would have had to stand in line a third time if I hadn't looked. I am usually not a negative reviewer. However, with a series of unfortunate events, I thought an honest review of my experience was appropriate. Upon check in, we waited approximately 20 minutes, the service was professional and pleasant. We checked in at 3:30 and arrived to our room while it was still being cleaned. We waited 10 minutes patiently, as I did not want to rush a proper cleaning. We entered the room to a wet bathroom floor, a coffee stirrer, clothes tags and other trash on the floor. Beautiful rooms, beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't ask for much more. Service at the pool for towels and food/drinks was superb!!!
The Diplomat is an amazing place to unwind and have a little fun. I brought my daughter for a little getaway. She spent an entire day between the pools and the beach. Everything was super convenient. We'll be back.
The place is simply breath taking, everyone here is so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back for the next trip to Florida.
As I did not stay at the Diplomat, I do not feel capable to write a review. However, I have been mightily impressed by the staff at the Diplomat Resort. When ___________ wanted coffee. One of his Aides did not have to go and get it. The coffee was brought out to him. Small tray. Cup, saucer, spoon with a half 'n half container AND a paper cup with its brown insulator in place & its lid. Espectaculares instalaciones, excelentes restaurantes y muy buen servicio
Lovely facilities for conference, best conference catering, by far. Parking is an absolute total disaster, the parking lot across the street is not clearly marked, so you drive into the sump of valet parking, including buses and taxies, and get stuck there for a good 20 minutes until someone directs you to the other side of the street. The bridge over the highway means you'll be going up and down stairs, just to get to the lobby, not to mention that now you have to walk across the valet parking driveway.
