Have been staying at this Hotel every June since 2005 for an annual convention and have never been so dissatisfied with this Hotel. When we arrived Valet said they didn't have any carts for our luggage because too many people were checking in at the same time so all of our bags were put on the sidewalk. We were given a slip to turn in when we had our room after taking over 30 min to check in we tuned in our slip and they were just putting our stuff in the cart. I am currently staying at The Diplomat Beach Resort while on vacation for the next few days. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, they invested all of their time and money into renovating the building and advertising instead of training the customer service and housekeeping staff. We checked in late at night and the front desk associate who checked us in was nice enough to upgrade us to an ocean view room since we are both Hilton Honors elite members, but did not give us any information about the resort and ... read more

Long check in and check out process. The old adage that the front desk efficiency is the barometer for the rest is true here. And the hotel does not depict true state of the place. Website says 'fresh off a 100 million transformation' but the room I was assigned had an inaccessible balcony with a 2x4 across the middle of the door.
