This used to be one of my favorite long weekend travel destinations. The room renovations are fresh but do they represent the luxury for this price point? I think not! The pool area is still beautiful but perhaps cleaning the side tiles, and removing the black mold, would make the experience more inviting and enjoyable. What a great surprise. Driving up through a sea of buildings I had no expectations. Here for a conference. Awesome decor, comfortable rooms, nice Bigelow toiletries, etc. Pool is lovely and the beach!
UPDATE the hotel did try to make things right with me as best as they could. I ended up using valet for half my stay and the fee was reduced. I noticed 3 security guards in the lobby yesterday. Original post: The resort is beautiful. The service is pretty terrible. The parking is the biggest racket I've ever heard or seen. I have a dodge ram and it doesn't fit in self parking.I'm here for work, we were not authorized to pay for valet. Kids and mommy had a great time. Very nice hotel overall. Yes the parking was chaos. The check in did take 45mins However it's got lots of nice areas, great pools and splash area even though it was closed a lot. It was fun despite those things I still managed to have a great time.

Terrible. Unprofessional. I arrived after a long day of travel to the Diplomat which is a Hilton Honors member. Let me preface by saying that i am Hilton Honors member AND a travel agent. When i arrived and waited in a long check-in line only to be informed that my confirmed reservation was cancelled (not by me) by the hotel. No notification, no call whatsoever.
