Attended my company's annual convention at Diplomat. They were oversold on the first night causing several attendees to move to other hotels. Prices on food/beverages are outrageously high. Service was mediocre.
I say this because the valet scratched my ladies car..And they stole 2 pair of my designer shades.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and super comfortable bed!
Don't assume the room you book is the room you'll get at check-in. Booked partial ocean-view room, confirmation email stated the same. Check-in email said city-view. Hotel staff said their computer system did not show a change and did not honor ocean-view room. They did move to us to a corner room that faced the city and a side-view of the ocean (as you looked over the roof of the neighboring building). Aside from this, the hotel was gorgeous and had amazing restaurants.

Great hotel with excellent staff. They have been so helpful and supportive considering we did not plan to come here (delayed flight 60+ hours).
Très déçu de ce supposé 4 Étoiles. Le matin réveillé à 7h par le technicien qui effectué des travaux dans la chambre mitoyenne. Personnel a l accueil pas souriant, pas aimable pour un sou. On ne peu pas non plus fumer a la piscine ni même au resto découvert et ce depuis 1 mois. Merci a la direction.. Bref il ne vaut pas 4 étoiles. Un 3 étoiles tout au plus. Pour un 4 je recommande le Fontainebleau ou le W South Beach.
