Hotel overbooked. So many families with small kids. Far away from everything. Restaurants and drinks so expensive. $15 Beautiful place, friendly staff, pools and large fire pit but only two worked out of five. Coffee pot didn’t work . Replaced twice. So much for a $100 million renovation. Everything cost you a ton of $$$$.
Just got home from a week there. Just beautiful as can be!! Gets VERY busy on weekends though!

The valet lost our car!!!!!! Total scam! Last night my 2 girlfriends and I went to dinner at diplomat prime the delicious great steakhouse located inside the diplomat hotel. Restaurant and hotel are amazing but We valeted the car, after dinner the valet "lost" the car for 1 hour. We made reservations at Monkitail for dinner on Saturday night. We checked the dress code with the restaurant. They said no shorts or beachwear. There are two parts to the restaurant one area that is like a bar area and another that is more like a restaurant. We get seated in the bar area. Open to the lobby. Very noisy. Felt like they seat you by the judgement of the hostess. There were people in shorts and t shirts by the bar area. One of my favorite places without having to drive all the way to Miami. Beautiful rooms, amazing restaurants to eat right there in the hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Love the ice cream shop! My husband and I always enjoy coming here. My only suggestion is that the cabana service could’ve been a little better.
