The Diplomat is gorgeous looking but the vibe was not at all what I was looking forward to. It should be listed as a convention center not a vacation spot! The room was OK but I hate carpet, the safe in room didn't work& hair dryer was junk! I didn't see a bathrobe hanging in the bathroom! Food& Drinks were way too expensive, bought a yogurt for $9.00 plus tax,ridiculous. Resort fee includes towels& lounge chair,umbrella extra...Won't go back! Compared to Margaritaville in Hollywood Beach the Diplomat ranks lower on my list!
Beautiful hotel but!!!! Had a bad experience at the pool. Went to the beach and left out beach bag, kids cover ups, and clothing pool side. Came back one hour later and beach bag was gone. Inquired with pool staff. They told me they had no idea what happen to it. We searched entire pool deck and could not find the bag. The bag suddenly then appeared inside of the used towel bin. great and friendly staff. clean, accompdating. We arrived around 1p and we were able to check in early no problems and this was on a Saturday. Gave us a great room and rooms are clean, neat, and upgraded. Gym was clean and big too. Definately staying here again next year!
This place is beautiful very nice very much of a good resort but two things one they charge extra for everything I’m surprised I didn’t have to put my credit card in to use the elevator and to the outside pool restrooms smell like P every day need to be thoroughly cleaned but beyond that beautiful nice and great customer service

I had a great time .The place is beautiful.l just love everything there especially the pools and the beach.I wish i could have spent more time there😍
Do not stay here if you are a new mom- they won't accommodate a later check out time (even when it is two hours before their published check in so you can pump in private AND they did not handle my milk properly. The first batch was frozen flat, rest were oddly shaped pucks however they threw it in the freezer. I would be completely embarrassed if I were them and at over $400 a night you would expect much better.
I had the best Vacation ever this past week. The staff was beyond wonderful. They treated more like family, then just another guest. I could've stayed there forever. I cannot wait to go back and see them all again.
