Let your taste buds be the judge! I love Spartan bakery not only for the great treats and goodies (the smores bars) but as well as socializing with the owners and staff they are wonderful people they treat you as if you are family. I will not take my buisness any where else but there. Please dont let bad reviews influence you not to at least give it a try!
love it let me start by saying I love me some Spartan bakery I have used them for every special occasion imaginable, I'm the father to four so that happens often! I have used them for as long as I can remember I also introduced my wife to them and she doesn't fix cake from a box anymore! We gave bi-lo a shot for a last minute birthday party and got a NASCAR cake the back fell off and ruined the cake. So disappointing to a 2 year old. Cakes and Cookies I live an hour away and would not go anywhere else but Spartan bakery for their cakes and cookies. My son is a plant manager and I send cakes and cookies to work with him and everyone just raves over them. The staff is the best you can find, they are thoughtful, and courteous, and very friendly. The staff treats you with respect, if anybody and everybody were completely honest they would have to say the same. I would recommend everyone to try Spartan Bakery, if you are honest you would say the same.
Satisfied Customer I really have to say that Spartan Bakery did a wonderful job on my baby shower cake. It was very cute with the babies on it but tasted great too. Everyone talked about how pretty the cake was and how good it tasted. The shower was a hit. Thanks Spartan Bakery.
Love the road trips I personally haven't met the owners but, a young man I worked with use to bring in cookies and cakes to work and they were delicious. I would love it when he brought sweets in, I finally asked him where he got them from he told me Spartan Bakery, said when he goes through Spartanburg he always gets him some sweets from Spartan bakery I do not blame him they are Delicious, I look forward to his trips to spartanburg so i can put in my order to what I want.
Talk of the Shower I have recently used Spartan Bakery for a twin baby shower cake and not just any cake it was three tiered cake it was huge, (I had to go all out it was my last pregnancy). I called Cathy the owner of Spartan Bakery and told her kind of a rough draft of what I was wanting and sent her a pic via e-mail she got back with me to make sure the details were correct and there were no mistakes that needed to be corrected, she was wonderful about making sure the cake was perfect for myself and my husband. Best cake/icing anywhere! I travel for business in NC, SC, TN and GA. If I EVER need a cake, cupcake, cookies, etc. I call, place an order and have never been disapointed. The owners/staff are polite and helpful. The best cake and icing of any place I know. I take cakes back to TN where I live, and to my offices in the other states. The prices are fair and everything is fresh!
my wedding cake fell apart! Wow! I wish I'd seen these reviews before I ordered from Spartan Bakery! Bottom line, go elsewhere! Horrible!! This bakery is known for its HORRIBLE customer service!! I ordered a minnie mouse cake for my baby shower last year and when my husband went to pick it up, not only was it not finished but it looked horrible! We paid extra for the image to be projected on and traced, so we were told, and it was obviously hand drawn. I wouldnt have minded except minnie mouse looked like a bear!
