Making your "sweet" dreams come true.. Spartanburg Bakery has been located in our area for many years. My family has personally used them for almost every occasion. They have a wonderful staff, offer many selections, and their cakes are to die for. I have never been able to find any other bakery that could hold a candle to their cakes. Many times I find my own family stopping by simply to pick up a few cake sqares for a quick snack. You simply must try them!
Horrible!! This bakery is known for its HORRIBLE customer service!! I ordered a minnie mouse cake for my baby shower last year and when my husband went to pick it up, not only was it not finished but it looked horrible! We paid extra for the image to be projected on and traced, so we were told, and it was obviously hand drawn. I wouldnt have minded except minnie mouse looked like a bear! it's okay i have always gone in the spartan bakery periodically over the years and i think the 'GREATNESS' and the 'QUALITY' depends on the owners... the cake squares are still great, though, yummmmm :)
confussed I have been looking for a good bakery to make my wedding cake and had been told by many this one is the best in town. I have read the reviews and understand they have wonderful cakes. I am a bit taken back by what has been posted about someone that is a customer there. I really think that maybe the owner should take this into consideration and realize that maybe they do have some unpleasant employees. My wedding cake was a disaster Why do companies promise to deliver and don't. 1. Customer Servive was poor. for a bakery in business since 1939, very disappointing. They told me i could have red velvet and then they told me They couldn't make a red velvet wedding cake. Had to repeatedly discuss cake order. Had to finally go to Spartan Bakery AND TALKED TO OWNER to discuss cake and the flowers on the cake ...went twice.. Requested edible flowers , they said they couldn't. Let your taste buds be the judge! I love Spartan bakery not only for the great treats and goodies (the smores bars) but as well as socializing with the owners and staff they are wonderful people they treat you as if you are family. I will not take my buisness any where else but there. Please dont let bad reviews influence you not to at least give it a try!
Don't Do It Taste is like dried ocean salt...decorating staff did not wear have gloves...The ones that did wear gloves were so rude....they will not even eat their own cake....what is up with that?
Great cake recipe Horrible everything else My family has been using Spartan Bakery for longer than I have been alive. The Bakery was sold a few years ago and has not been the same since. If you want your cake to be ready when you get there you had best tell them you need it at least three hours early. They have also had a very hard time making the cakes correctly. Anniversary Cake-the Best!! A year ago, I had this bakery make my Wedding cake...it was a red-velvet with cream cheese frosting..OH MY--it was the "BEST" cake ever..so this year I ordered the same kind for our First Year Anniversary....you simply MUST try this bakery--not many left like this one!!
