Satisfied Customer I really have to say that Spartan Bakery did a wonderful job on my baby shower cake. It was very cute with the babies on it but tasted great too. Everyone talked about how pretty the cake was and how good it tasted. The shower was a hit. Thanks Spartan Bakery.
nasty cake Order a cake form here and it was also very dry. Paid 125.00 for it. I will never order again from them. The cake was thrown away!
FLUFFY I have used Spartan bakery for many years and the cakes and other goodies are great!!!! Don't listen to what others say give them a try yourself and be the judge. WASTE OF MONEY THE WORST CAKE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!!!!! I asked if they could make a 3D graduation cap for my daughters graduation party, they said 'no problem' and that they knew how to do that. Went to pick up the cake.... Problem 1: They spelled my daughters name wrong even though it was right on the paper. The lady got mad when I pointed it out to her. (it did get corrected) Problem 2: The cake was not what I had showed them a picture of, in fact it didn't even look like a cap. More like a star or crown or octopus. Probl... read more

My wedding cake was a disaster Why do companies promise to deliver and don't. 1. Customer Servive was poor. for a bakery in business since 1939, very disappointing. They told me i could have red velvet and then they told me They couldn't make a red velvet wedding cake. Had to repeatedly discuss cake order. Had to finally go to Spartan Bakery AND TALKED TO OWNER to discuss cake and the flowers on the cake ...went twice.. Requested edible flowers , they said they couldn't. If angels baked cakes... ...they'd use Spartan Bakery's recipe. "There must be crack in this cake," a friend of mine once postulated, because she couldn't stop wanting it. Yes, it's that good. I'm generally a vanilla-cake-with-vanilla-icing purist, and their version has ruined me for all other kinds -- a perfect, fluffy cake with the most enigmatically delicious icing you've ever put in your mouth, like eating a vanilla cloud.
Loved the cake!! I got my son a birthday cake with the WipeOut Game Show theme. It was an unusual cake but Mike at Spartan Bakery made it happen! My son loved the cake!! All Mike had to go on was a picture and his creativity. It was a devil's food cake with buttercream icing and it was delicious!! We were expecting to pay $50-$60 dollars and ended up being charged less than $35! Thanks Mike!
Great cakes! Spartan Bakery did our wedding cake and, more recently, our son's first birthday cake. In both cases, I was able to bring in picture and talk one-on-one with staff members to relay exactly what I wanted. Both times, I have been very impressed with their customer service and the quality of their cakes, not to mention their reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
