While every hotel and/or hotel guest encounter challenges, the management staff at the JW Marriott Austin is caring and truly there for their guest!
A clean and inviting facility, but don't plan on sleeping with the downtown partiers roaming the hallways at 3 a.m. For a high-end hotel, it has the poorest external sound insulation of any hotel in which I have stayed. For the cost of the room, you really should be able to get a decent night's sleep.
Beautiful hotel with amazing service and very personable staff. I highly recommend. PS: Do not miss the rooftop pool & bar!
It's been so entertained, busy and amazing time visiting Austin, Texas. Restaurants,museum, parks, streets and the lovely people. The long horns styles systems, the blind pig pub,and country music made me felt as in ald movie at wild wild west.I wish to come back again in a near future with my entire family.
Booked Romance Package and confirmation letter said I can do late check-out at 3pm, but front desk says they can only do 1pm. Upon learning this days later, the team offered coupons for compensation. Kudos!
Hotel was very nice. Enjoyed drinks at The Corner bar although wine was a bit expensive ($12 plus a glass). Hotel room was on the 24th floor on corner with great Lake view. Hair dryer didn't work so my husband had to go to work with wet hair and I didn't wash my hair. Receptionist said sorry, but didn't seem that concerned. Parking was $47 which was way too much. I liked it a lot. Beautiful views, comfortable bed, loved the walk-in shower. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The bar area was lively. Only issue is the bathroom sliding door kept sliding open which became awkward at times and in the executive lounge there was a hair on the fruit serving spoons. But other than that, great.
The room was wonderful the service was great and the concierge was outstanding RAH
Most warm & welcoming staff I've ever encountered in Austin. Enjoyed every service of @jwmarriottaustin. Will definitely return!
