Worst place to work
This is why I love Marriott. It's 3am and my flight connecting through Dallas diverted to Austin due to weather, where we sat on the runway for 4 hours till the flight was cancelled. Thanks American but no La Quinta for me and off to JW Marriott where the sweet desk clerk listened to my sob story. Twenty minutes later I was surprised with a superb BLT, a box of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and a little basket of toiletries to tide me over. Everything was ok but $50 for valet parking and it took them 30mins to bring it to us
Beautiful hotel, but the customer service is TERRIBLE! We got stuck in an elevator and it took them over 27 minutes to even get someone to us to help! Even when we told them we had two women having medical issues/panic attacks. Also, there is NEVER any concierge available and the staff is rude and not helpful. Rooms and conference rooms are gorgeous and clean. If the service and support was better it would be a great hotel.
Nice pool!
The front staff, lobby bartenders and the pool bar tenders were extremely friendly. Pool staff was not as friendly but understandable since they are catering to million people in one tiny pool. The pool food was good. A little better then your average pool food. I do recommend they should have a shower especially when you have that many people in one small pool it seems a little unsanitary to not be able to rinse off in a shower and you are not allowed to use the spa bathrooms since they are for spa guests only which surpris... read more
