Had such a fabulous experience at this hotel. From arrival to departure--everything was truly seamless. Their level of service & attention to details is amazing. Cannot wait to go back again soon!!!!!!
Concierge floor is not worth the money. Not clean either. Try and stay away during big conventions. Valet Parking service took almost 30 minutes, although we were warned. We were never told we had an option of self park for less money. The music at the pool is WAY too loud and not enjoyable when the speakers are blasting in your ear. So loud that my own headphones could not be heard. Thus, I spent little to no time at the pool which is what I was looking forward to. BTW I am a huge JW fan and a Ritz Rewards member.
My experience was quite superb. I found the staff to be extremely friendly. The Starbucks on the 2nd stayed busy buts gets you thru very efficiently.
Stayed in Austin at the JW this weekend for The Tour Of Texas Warm Up. My family and I were highly impressed with ALL aspects of this hotel! We will recommend your hotel to anyone who is looking for the best place to stay in Austin!!!
This property is glorious. From the minute you walk in, beautiful decor. The customer service is well above excellent.

We paid way too much for F1 weekend. We had a corner room which looked at the back of other buildings. Rooms were just okay with no mini bar and no snacks. The women at the front desk tried charging me for the entire stay even though we had pre-paid for the entire stay, glad I caught her. We stayed at the JW Marriott in Austin last weekend. My husband and I agreed while we were there, that they had exceptional service. Any requests made were done promptly and with a smile. The hotel is beautifully furnished and clean. But, they really went above and beyond. In my rush (tired mom syndrome, right here) I left a library book in the hotel room.
